In accordance with the Article 71¹ of Georgian Air Code and the Government Resolution No. 174 dated on 10 April 2018, air carriers are obliged to provide authorized agency with the advance passenger information(API) and passenger name records(PNR). The Resolution prescribes regulations, terms and conditions for data retrieval and processing on behalf of authorities as well as deletion, depersonalization and delivery thereof to the competent agencies.

With the aim for air carriers to systematize and simplify the procedures provided by the above mentioned Resolution, Operative-Technical Agency of Georgia created web portal piu.ssg.gov.ge.
